Place is the first boutique Hotel in Florence and is situated in the square of Santa Maria Novella, (5 minutes from the train station), which takes its name from the beautiful, harmonious Gothic church located there, one of the historic jewels of the city. The well-known architect Mr. Michele Bonan inspired by the philosophy of personal service and intimate and luxurious surroundings, created this stylish "house " that unites traditional architecture with the comfort and luxury of modernism, without losing the personality of local traditions.

"Absolutely fantastic"
reviewed the wrong hotel. Our experience could not have been more different and we stayed at the hotel at roughly the same time.
This hotel surpassed all our expectations and has set new ones for any hotel we stay at in future. The staff were unbelievably helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Our flight was cancelled and we arrived 5 hours later than planned to be greeted by a very warm welcome and food and drinks served in a very comfortable lounge with plasma screen TV and scented candles. Heaven! We were staying with our small daughter and the staff at the hotel were happy to acommodate us any way they could by warming her milk, providing children's DVD's etc. We were always greeted with a warm and friendly smile whenever we visited the front desk and were regularly offered advice on the best places to eat, reserving tickets for galleries, museums, etc.
The hotel provide snacks and drinks all day in the lounge, free to anyone staying in the hotel and the mini bar in your room containing soft drinks, water, chocolate etc is free.
Finally, the rooms themselves were the cleanest and most comfortable we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in some very nice hotels. Fresh bedlinen everyday, towels changed twice a day whether you've used them or not and beautiful toiletries in the bathroom.
What can we say, choose JK Place for your stay in Florence and you will NOT be disappointed.

"J K Place, A very special first class hotel"
Our son booked 3 nights in the J K Place Hotel as a joint 60th Birthday present, knowing that Florence was a place that we had always wanted to visit. We were not disappointed !!
The moment we walked into the reception area we were greeted by friendly staff who made us feel comfortable and very special. We were told to make the hotel our home and nothing seemed too much trouble. They offered to book tickets for us and booked us into' The Lounge' restaurant next door which we ate at 2 nights. the food was excellent.
